The PADI Open Water Diver course typically takes three to four days in Hurghada. This includes theory sessions (available online before you arrive), confined water training in a pool, and four open water dives in the Red Sea.
Absolutely. No experience is required. The PADI Discover Scuba Diving programme is a single-day introduction for complete beginners. The PADI Open Water course — the first full certification — is designed from the ground up for people who have never dived before.
PADI Junior Open Water certification is available from age 10. Full adult certification starts at 15. There is no maximum age — provided you are in reasonable health, you can learn to dive at any stage of life.
